Need Help with These Photo's

I got these Scenic photo's from a Friend of my Brother. I don't remember where they were taken, can anyone help? I know it was OUT WEST, in one of the Western States, and JOHN WAYNE filmed some movies there. Could be Arizona, I saw some similar photo's like this. I've got quite a few of these, they are BEAUTIFUL photo's.

If You Look at these It could almost be a dried up OCEAN Bed.Looks like a dried up OCEAN.
